Reception at Copenhagen City Hall, Copenhagen City Hall Square

The Lord Mayor of the City of Copenhagen is cordially inviting all participants of SCR 2012 for a reception at the City Hall. The Copenhagen City Hall was designed by the architect Martin

Nyrop who was inspired by the city hall in Siena (Tuscany). The building was inaugurated in 1905 and the architectural style is the National Romantic style. It is dominated by its richly ornamented front, with the gilded statue of Bishop Absalon, the founder of Copenhagen, just above the balcony, and the tall and a slim clock tower.

The official SCR-2012-Copenhagen-5K-Run, meeting point: Tivoli Congress Center

Join your colleagues for the Sightseeing Run at 6:30 hrs. It will take you on a 5 km scenic tour along the Copenhagen Harbor. Please sign up when you register for the congress, or meet us at the front entrance of the Tivoli Congress Center if you suddenly feel for exercise early in the morning.

Congress Dinner at Restaurant “Grøften”, Tivoli Gardens

The Local Organizing Committee invites all participants to a traditional evening in Tivoli, with Danish “smørrebrød” and professional networking at Restaurant Grøften. The Tivoli Gardens (or simply Tivoli) is an old and rather famous amusement park in Copenhagen dating back to 1843. Restaurant

Grøften is one of Tivoli’s oldest and most traditional restaurants, well known by the Copenhageners, who appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, service and good food – especially the Danish open  faced sandwiches “smørrebrød”!

Price DKK 500, which includes access to Tivoli, dinner & beverages (no entertainment)
